our story

People with disabilities can and want to work yet only 35% of them are employed.

We want to change that.

When Daxton graduated high school, his mother Ashley knew he needed something to keep him busy and socialized. He wasn't ready for college and his anxiety kept him from being able to get a "real job". This is how Project Kind came about.

Project Kind meets a few days a week for its crew members to work. It's not about the money of course, it is about these young adults getting out of their homes, socializing, and building their self confidence. We hope to help them make tiny steps into the adult world and most importantly, have FUN! And we do HAVE FUN!
